Hamilton is a port city in the Canada Province of Ontario. Hamilton’s population is 536,917. Its census metro area has a population total of 767,000. It is located 58 km (36 mi) southwest Toronto, in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). It was an area that was inhabited before European settlement.
